On Friday, November 6, 2020, Edison High School hosted its first-ever Partner with Edison Virtual Brunch. Edison President Mike Schwab and long-time English and Drama teacher Maureen Manning co-hosted the virtual program. Together with 225 viewers, they watched interviews with Edison students and faculty and shared a hopeful vision for the future.
Caius Matthews '21 bravely shared his educational journey including his struggles with dyslexia and how Edison has made a difference in his life. His mother, Perrine, continued to share their moving story. She expressed her gratitude to our dedicated faculty and staff for the wonderful support they provide to Edison students.
Board member, Sherry Francis ended the program by sharing her grandson's, Keiran Francis, Edison-experience and what a profound impact it made on their entire family.
Together we raised over $224,000 for our financial aid program, professional development for staff, and technology upgrades at the school. While we would have loved to come together in person, we are so grateful to all who joined us!
